Log on and visit our website where you can find loads of information on what is going on and where. You can also join up to clubs and societies and buy tickets for nights out (this helps to avoid any disappointment of not being able get in on the night!).
The SU offers over 200 sports and societies (social, political, cultural and academic) - there's bound to be something you already enjoy or want to give a go. If there isn’t, then set it up!
The SU coordinates a massive range of events across its venues throughout the year. If you can survive on very little sleep, you could potentially do a different activity every night!
Become a member of the V-Team and get involved with volunteering in the local community. This can be anything from building websites for charities, to conservation and sports coaching. You can also help at events throughout the year, such as fundraising for charity...whilst having fun!
If all of this seems a bit like hard work, or you just want to relax and chill out, you can still get involved with the SU. There are various places to eat on campus which serve a wide range of food. You can sample loads of dishes from freshly made pizza at Mondo, to more traditional meals such as jacket potatoes or pie and chips in the SU Bar.
Don't forget that you're welcome to attend one of our Open Days throughout the year. If you want to get a feel for the campus, speak to some of the teachers or check out the accommo- dation on offer then it is a great idea to come to our campuses in the summer or autumn when we'll be running an Open Day. Please click here to have a look at our website which gives you all the details you'll need to find out some information about our Open Days.
